About

I’m Marija Laura Windisch - Mica (maiden name Potočnik), a multimedia artist, graphic designer, and ambience designer based in Novo mesto, Slovenia.

Holding degrees in Digital Arts and Ambience Design, I bring a multidimensional approach to visual and spatial concepts. My career has taken me across Europe and beyond, shaping international projects and festivals like Platoon Kunsthalle, Remake Festival, CRCLR, Startup Guide, and Social Media Week Berlin.

During my time with the Berlin-based creative agency Platoon Cultural Development, I contributed to high-profile campaigns such as Hugo Boss’s Red Never Follows and Verdi’s Mindestlohn 8.5€/h. Over the years, I’ve also collaborated with Maurice Redmond Design Studio, Startup Everywhere, and MediaINFO Digital Library. In 2019, I showcased my trash art series, Pica Pica Collection, in a solo exhibition in Brisbane, Australia.

Alongside my independent projects, I have co-managed Windisch Markus since 2020 — a boutique studio dedicated to high-end print production and engineering.

Whether crafting visual identities, executing custom prints, or shaping interior spaces, I focus on storytelling, functional beauty, and thoughtful detail. (And when I’m not designing, I’m busy raising my two boys!)
